Having worked in the field of trauma for decades, as a retired Social Worker and Licensed Massage Therapist I’m uniquely qualified to understand the needs of clients who experience stress and trauma, as well as diagnosed PTSD, anxiety, mood and depression disorders and more. As a Massage Therapist, I have a special place in my heart for those who are in most need of emotional and psychic relief, while being equally qualified to address physical pain from injury or chronic body stress. My goal is to ameliorate pain and stress through massage. Research shows that massage reduces pain and symptoms of anxiety, PTSD, depression and other disorders. It is also proven to improve mood and feelings of well-being.
